Why use Jennifer's Landscape Vitamins?

1. To Create a Sustainable Landscape

The forest is a sustainable landcape.  Nobody is out fertilizing or watering a forest and it seems to do pretty well without our help.  The forest gets its nutrients from the decaying leaves and rain.  Jennifer's Landscape Vitmains Compost Tea is the brown liquid that flows from your leaf pile after it rains.  Our products are not harmful to children, pets or wildlife.

 2. Reduce Your Landscape Maintenance Time

A Vitamin Tank is a specifically designed delivery method for Vitamin Extract and Compost Tea through your irrigation (sprinkler) system. There is no easier or faster delivery method to feed your yard. Install the Vitamin Tank, pour the tea and vitamin extract into the tank and push test twice on your irrigation controller. Step back and watch technology—and Mother Nature—maintain your yard. The Vitamin Tank will proportionately disperse your compost tea and vitamins in your yard when the irrigation system test pattern operates.  After the test pattern has run twice, the Vitamin Tank will become self-cleaning.  We sell 1/2 gallon to 55 gallon tanks.

 3. Banish Mosquitos, Grubs, Fleas and Fire Ants

The nematodes (worms) in Jennifer’s Landscape Vitamins Compost Tea are the natural predators of fleas, grubs, and mosquitoes. The protozoa (microscopic organisms) in Jennifer’s Landscape Vitamins Compost Tea are the natural predators of fire ants. Now you can enjoy a pest-free lawn the way nature intended.

 4. Eliminate Thatch

The bacteria in Jennifer’s Landscape Vitamins Compost Tea reduces thatch and turns it into food for the plants and grass.

  • Did you know that healthy grass has roots that extend 8” to 4’ deep?
  • Grass grows in bacterial dominated soils.
  • Plants and trees grow in fungal dominated soils.

Compost Tea has the bacteria and fungus your landscape wants.

 5. No More Standing Water After a Rain

The fungus in Jennifer’s Landscape Vitamins Compost Tea reduces erosion and standing water. Fungus’ function in the landscape is to hold moisture and make it available to your plants. It also adds structure to the soil so that slope failures due to erosion do not occur.

6. Get Rid of Weeds

Have you noticed that weeds come back when you kill them? Weeds are nature’s way of telling you that there are nutrient deficiencies in your soil.  Weeds occur when the fungal to bacterial relationship in your soil is 0.1. To get rid of weeds, drench your yard with Jennifer’s Landscape Vitamins Compost Tea and Vitamin Extract.

7. Stop Chinch Bugs and Brown Patch

Chinch Bugs and Brown patch occur when there are not enough predators for these guys in your soil.  You can add a 1" layer of compost mixed with Granular Vitamins to control their populations.
